Well, how to install a font, both on PC and Mac, is a super simple task. Download it. If you are seeing. Even simpler in Windows is to select all the fonts, right-click and click Install. Already have the fonts? Windows updated my computer and caused it to crash.
It also deleted all my fonts except the limited handful that is already installed. Can y ping me at boris labs. I have the same situation as Monica. Can you post if you were able to help her and what to do? If that computer is a machine owned by the company that you work for, that may be the case. Let me know and we will figure it out!
Are you viewing the ttf files within an unzipped zip file, in Windows Explorer? Your method is also a working method. Once the zip file with the archive is unzipped, you can select all the ttf or otf files and right click them, Install. You can easily find it in the Control Panel Menu. If I should answer directly — use OTF. The most significant differences in those two type formats are in the way they are created, in the technical part.
But the two formats should work perfectly well on Windows And again, if you ever have one font in both formats, go for the OTF one. It can have more typographic features, better language support, more glyphs characters and other advantages.

Thanks, Jane, the Menu Maker www. To the best of my knowledge, Mac and Win PostScript and TrueType fonts are different and not cross platform compatible. OpenType fonts are truely cross platform. I hear that you can use Win TT fonts on a Mac, but not vice versa. As I understand it, print service providers are reuired by the font EULA to own the font even though the customer provides it. I suggest you ask your customer to purchase the modern OpenType versions of the fonts. Regards Mark. How do I resolve so he can open themj??
Thats not an Adobe question. Perhaps it's because of the way you are sending the emails tho. Adobe products can read some Windows Type 1 fonts if installed in the correct folder. Better yet, switch to OpenType Pro fonts from Adobe. We invested in TransTypePro, it was a cheap investment considering the time loss of running round trying to find the right version of the fonts.
